Kanye West premiered the video for his single "Love Lockdown" on the day time talk show "Ellen". In the video West is depicted against an African tribe, complete with spears and women clad in body paint. Kanye West is clearly headed in a different direction.

Brooklyn lyricist Fabolous is hard at work on his next album slated to drop later this year; "Loso's Way" will follow in the footsteps of Jay-Z's "American Gangster" album as a concept record and is based on the classic film "Carlito's Way". In other Fabolous news, the rapper says he and Ne-Yo are working on a Best of Both Worlds album.

Now this should be interesting... This Brooklyn MC had been known to spit straight fire on tracks!

The legendary rapper will be making a stop in New York to perform at The Fillmore to promote the release of his 8^th solo album, Raw Footage, which debuted at #1 on the US Rap and R&B album sales chart upon its release on August 19^th and is in stores now courtesy of his own independent imprint, Lench Mob Records.
